Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance has obtained another new mandate for the Achmea Dutch Residential Mortgage Fund. Pension fund Provisum will participate for €80 million in the longest running mortgage fund in the Netherlands.

Provisum manages the pension schemes for C&A Netherlands and has over 10,000 members. The assets of the fund are managed by Anthos Fund & Asset Management.

The Achmea Dutch Residential Mortgage Fund, established in 1997, manages assets in excess of €12 billion, thanks to the participation of new institutional investors. Last year, Syntrus Achmea obtained a total of €1.5 billion of new mandates for the mortgage fund, in which more than fifty investors currently participate.

"We are proud of the confidence that Provisum expresses with this mandate," says Daan van der Werf, Investor Relations Director at Syntrus Achmea. "Mortgages have proven to be a robust investment with a favourable risk/return profile, where investors can increasingly fulfil their ESG ambitions."

In addition to the fund solution, Syntrus Achmea offers institutional investors the option of building their own mortgage portfolios under the Centraal Beheer brand. Through these separate accounts, investors can choose a portfolio with a risk profile of their choice. In total, Syntrus Achmea manages almost 28 billion in mortgage investments for its clients
